About the Artist.

Eliza is a NorCal native currently living in Santa Cruz with her scruffy Wolfhound and a pretty serious addiction to walking as far from cellular service as her two feet will allow. She holds her BA in Fine Art from the University of California at Santa Cruz, and studied photojournalism at the Center for Digital Imaging Arts at Boston University. When properly on the grid you can find her religiously attending taco night, scrambling up random rocks, doodling in her red notebook, or attempting ocean-related sports with little to no success. She is fond of finding unique, natural manipulations of light in real-world spaces. An analog girl by blood, any and all imagery presented here has been shot in-camera, utilizing movement and reflection to find interest and beauty in the mundane.

"To photograph truthfully and effectively is to see beneath the surfaces and record the qualities of nature and humanity which live or are latent in all things"
